Last weekend was the Greater Brookland Garden Club's Sixth Annual House and Garden Tour. We got started late and got chatting with too many neighbors, but we got to tour a few of our neighborhood's homes and gardens! About a dozen homes, organizations and businesses participated in showing off their buildings, which varied in styles from tudor to victorian to four-square.

I was caught in a conversation about native plantings and realized that I have completely no idea what plants grow around here. Hopefully in the next few years, I will learn more about what to grow. Most of my garden is in planters right now. Here are a few pictures.
