Basement: Joel tore apart the basement a few weeks ago. The wall between the utility room and the room with the kitchen sink was torn down. And the ceiling has been opened up too. It was dirty, but it revealed just a few spots we need to treat for water - mostly around the windows.

Joel also discovered a few interesting treasures in tearing things apart as well. A change dispenser. An old switchblade. And a fishing reel. I think we'll continue finding stuff like this throughout this entire process. Does anyone know anything about these items? Year produced? Manufacturer?
